MARIANA & MOZART: Party at Mihaila's House

The internationally acclaimed ensemble Anacronía from Spain invites you on a splendid journey to 18th-century Vienna – the world of composer Mariana Martinez's salon music evenings, where the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn, and Nicola Porpora were also heard. The concert brings to life the interplay of Baroque and Classicism, charismatically performed on historical instruments.

Performed by: Ensemble Anacronía (Spain), David Gutiérrez (traverso), Pablo Albarracín (Baroque violin), Marina López (harpsichord), Luis Manuel Vicente (Baroque viola), Marc de la Linde (viola da gamba).

The concert takes place within the S-EEMERGING program with the support of the European Union's “Creative Europe” program. The concert is organized by the Riga Early Music Center in collaboration with Iecava Cultural House.
