Honey Festival in Jersika Parish 2025

On May 24, for the first time, the Honey Festival will take place in Jersika Parish, Līvāni Municipality, where you can spend the day relaxing in the fresh air and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere near Jersika Primary School.

From 16:00 - 21:00:

·            festival market;

·            honey tasting;

·            educational activities by the Latvian Beekeeping Association;

·            info tent - interesting facts about bees;

·            children’s bee wing making workshop;

·            meeting of honey cake hosts and cake tasting;

·            creative workshops – honey scrub and soap;

·            open for viewing – Jersika's Church of the Transfiguration.

From 16:00 - 18:00:

·            visit to beekeeping “Ievinas” – viewing of bee beds and beekeeping equipment, visit to the apiary, and purchase of bee products. Registration required by phone +371 29 574 209 /Juris/. Limited seats. Participation fee 5 EUR.

At 17:00:

·            welcoming participants of the water tourism gathering “The Great Raft 2025” (opposite Plonu Island) and demonstrations;

·            rafting trips on the Daugava River. Departure opposite Plonu Island, every hour. Participation fee - 5 EUR;

·            boat trips on the "Visvaldis" on the Daugava River. Departure opposite Plonu Island, every hour. Participation fee 8.00 EUR.

From 19:00:

·            awards for participants of "The Great Raft 2025";

·            concert “Songs from the Heart” (ANDRIS BALTACIS, DAINIS SKUTELIS, ALDIS KISE).

At 21:00:

·            open-air dance with the band "Laimes rats".

Entry fee - 10 EUR.

Day program and dance - 15 EUR.

Dance - 10 EUR.
