Masterclass EBRU – Painting on Water
The first masterclass at the Creative Space of the Ogre District Cultural Center on September 27 at 11:00 AM.
This unique painting technique originated in ancient Persia and is still popular today in Turkey and other Eastern countries. Its magic lies in painting on the surface of water, creating various patterns with specially mixed color pigments, which are then transferred onto paper or a silk scarf.
Watching an artist create a drawing is a highly engaging process that appeals to both children and adults. In the masterclasses, participants have the opportunity to try creating a drawing themselves or mix colors, and no prior preparation is needed.
This technique is calming and creative.
No prior knowledge is required, and you don't need to know how to draw.
During the masterclass, the artist provides a small demonstration, after which participants can engage in the activity themselves.
