In his youth, captivated by singing, now the owner of an inherited rental house, Raimonds has created the club Pie mežrozītes. The residents of Iļģuciems have embraced it for its good music, and on warm summer evenings, joy and passions abound on the outdoor terrace – and not just for the sparrows and pigeons of the neighborhood... A letter arrives from Venice, and opera singer Eva arrives in Riga. Based on the libretto created by playwright Dace Mican-Zālīte, the story revolves around Riga's intellectually creative hipster scene, a female artist facing life and career challenges and choices. In line with the jukebox musical style, the musical features only the most popular hits of Raimonds Pauls: "Laternu stundā", "Nepārmet man", "Mežrozīte", "Tumši zilā", "Cik klusa nakts", "Undīne" and other Latvian and non-Latvian favorite songs. In the rhythms of Riga's city life, intertwining historical and contemporary contexts, the rose of mežrozīte blooms.

Back in the distant 1968 when Raimonds Pauls and Alfrēds Krūklis created "Mežrozīte", Jānis Peters wrote: "Mežrozīte" spread among the people like the syrup of this rose's fruit, breaking against stones.
