Motorsport Festival in Tukums
Motorsport fans and enthusiasts are invited to the two-day event "Motorsport Festival in Tukums" this weekend. During the event, Jānis Klāks' motorsport photo exhibition will be opened, where visitors will also have the opportunity to see various sports vehicles. Meanwhile, the next day, there will be an autosprint race at the Tukums racetrack. Admission is free for both days.
The festival will be opened on May 27 at 13:00 at the Tukums Ice Arena with Jānis Klāks' motorsport photography exhibition. Parallel to the exhibition, various sports vehicles such as autocross, drift, mini rally, and autosprint cars, minibikes, carts, kart cars, retro karts, and modern buggies made in Jaunpils by the "Hornet Factory Racing Team" can be seen. The sports vehicle exhibition will run until 17:00.
On May 28, the Tukums racetrack will host autosprint races, in which some of the vehicles seen in the exhibition will participate. Drivers can register for participation here - http://tukumatrase.lv/?page_id=35. The event is organized in cooperation with the support of the Tukums Municipality Council. Admission is free for both days.
Motorsport photographer Jānis Klāks started his career in 2016. During these years, he has attended nearly 50 competitions in Latvia and abroad. He has been an accredited photographer at the World Rallycross Championship (WRX) stage in Latvia, the Motocross World Championship (MXGP) stage in Latvia, the Baltic Touring Car Championship (BaTCC) in Latvia and Finland, the European Rally Championship (ERC), and the European Autocross Championship (EAX).
