Music Bank 2022 Awards Ceremony

On January 28, 2023, the Daugavpils Olympic Center will once again host the annual Music Bank 2022 Awards Ceremony, celebrating the most valuable pop and rock songs of the year. As usual, the Music Bank 2022 final concert show will be visually stunning, musically ambitious, and impressive, featuring the most popular soloists, bands, and special guests of the past year. Through an attractive, friendly, and musical competition, we will determine the song that will be awarded the title of the Most Valuable Song of 2022 through online voting.

Music Bank 2022 is a radio show on Latvijas Radio 2 that determines the most valuable and beloved domestic songs every year. Music Bank airs on Latvijas Radio 2 three times a week - on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 14:05 and on Saturdays from 12:10. Through listener voting on the website www.muzikalabanka.lv, the most valuable pop and rock songs of the week, month, and year are determined. The grand final vote, in which the most popular songs from each month's poll participate, will begin on January 3, 2023, and will last until January 24.

In "Music Bank 2021", the laurels were won by the collaboration of "Prāta Vētra" and "Tautumeitas" with the song "Tur, kur Dieva kamanas slīd", the second place was taken by the group "Citi Zēni" with the song "Limuzīns uz krīta", and the honorable third place was taken by Dona with the song "Tas rakstīts debesīs (Piena ceļš)".

For the fourth year in a row, the city of Daugavpils is the partner of the Music Bank survey on Latvijas Radio 2.
