Three “Grammy” nominations, 70 million records sold, more than 100 gold and platinum album certifications – this is just the visible part of the pinnacle of this enigmatic project.

The project “Enigma” was created in the 1980s by the German producer Michael Cretu, and it captured the hearts of millions of listeners with its unique and unparalleled sound. This style of music synthesis combines Gregorian chants, ethnic psalms, church bell sounds, organs, and other instruments, creating a special, atmospheric, and sometimes even psychedelic sound. The phenomenal volume of records sold and the mystery surrounding the artists' faces made “Enigma” one of the most popular and puzzling musical projects of recent decades.

“Enigma's” success has inspired many artists and producers, including the project “Gregorian”, whose repertoire includes modern pop and rock songs in the style of Gregorian chant. However, despite this remarkable achievement, “Enigma” has never gone on a concert tour or participated in live shows – it has always been a studio project that initially did not plan to perform on stage.

In 2018, the company “DC Music” created the project “Original Enigma Voices”, registered the brand in their ownership, and began creating a show with the original singers who participated in “Enigma” studio recordings and contributed significantly to the project's success. Particularly unforgettable is Angel X's voice from the megahit “Return to Innocence”.

From 2018 to 2024, these concerts were enhanced with a live band and string orchestra. However, in 2024, the project's owner, DC Music, decided to change many elements. As explained by Jens Gad, former “Enigma” co-producer, “we returned to the essence of Enigma's music – its mystical and atmospheric nature, realizing that previous live show interpretations did not fully capture the soul of these compositions. By discarding the excess and returning to the roots, we are starting a new chapter.”
