Hike "Nightingale Night" in Zlēkas 2025

On May 23rd, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, a night hike will take place in Zlēkas, Ventspils County. Fans of active recreation and hiking are invited to embark on a 15 km journey, during which they can explore the most beautiful spots of the lesser-known Zlēkas Parish.

During the hike, there will be a chance to sing along with the “Alšvanga Musicians”, stop at a picnic spot to have tea or coffee, grill your brought sausages over a campfire, swat the first mosquito, enjoy the nightingale trolls of Zlēkas, etc. – participate in events organized by the hosts, as well as offer your own ideas for a more enjoyable walk.

The hike is suitable for people of different ages, as well as families with children, but we kindly ask you to consider your and your children's strength and abilities to ensure the hike remains a pleasant memory for you and other participants.

Tired travelers will be transported back to the starting point by bus.
