SPRING PLANT FAIR

On May 1st, from 9:00 to 13:00 in Ogre, on the pedestrian section of Brīvības Street, a spring plant fair will take place. At 11:00 on the City Square stage, the concert 'Blossom in Dance' will showcase Latvian folk and world dance styles performed by the senior dance group 'Astras' from Ogre District Culture Center and the folk dance ensemble 'Ogre'. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase flower, tree, and shrub plants, as well as receive knowledgeable advice from sellers on planting, cultivation, soil preparation, and other important matters.
