PirtsFest 2025

 

This summer, for three days from July 25 to 27, we will celebrate the festival of sauna and wholeness in Tērvete, at the “PirtsFest 2025” festival, which will take place in a sunlit forest nook, in the glamping area of the Latvian State Forest Nature Park near the beautiful Tērvete Reservoir.

 

We invite all sauna enthusiasts for whom the sauna is relaxation, adventure, well-being, or a passion, and especially those who want to learn everything about and around the sauna.

 

Immerse yourself in the sensations of nature and sauna steam, indulge in lectures, workshops, and creative activities by sauna masters, masseurs, and healthy lifestyle practitioners for both adults and children. Enjoy relaxing sauna and massage rituals under the open sky, and become a discoverer at the home producers and craftsmen's market. After sunset, a special magic begins – evening concerts, the mysterious Fire Night with coal walking, wild Latvian dances, and a lively green ball with the band “Brekši Pekši”. Three days that will cheer the spirit, body, and heart. Come and experience!

 

PirtsFest 2025 also invites you to be present at three heartfelt and unifying events:

 

1.    In the children's sauna master competition “Young Family Sauna Master 2025”, we invite all children aged 7 to 14 who enjoy pampering their loved ones in the sauna - mom, dad, grandpa, or grandma. Meanwhile, everyone is welcome to the event “Children Go to Sauna” even without experience to learn how to use the sauna together and later participate in a special children's sauna master freestyle competition.
2.    The competition “Future Sauna Master 2025” invites young sauna enthusiasts who are studying sauna knowledge at a school or privately and whose practical experience is no longer than 3 years.
3.    For the first time in Latvia, the Latvian stage of the international “Sauna Herbal Cup” competition will take place in the festival's Grand Sauna, inviting experienced sauna masters to apply. The best will represent Latvia in the Sauna Herbal Cup World Finals in the Czech Republic in the fall, where more than 20 countries will participate this year – this is a rare opportunity to promote the sauna worldwide.

 

The sauna has been an essential part of Latvian traditional heritage for centuries, bringing people closer to wholeness, hand in hand with human nature and the living nature all around. PirtsFest 2025 will be a heartfelt meeting festival, gathering sauna masters, sauna lovers, sauna friends, and all who love the sauna, nature, and togetherness in one place.

Good to know.  
Children and young people under 14 must be under constant parental supervision at the Festival.
 
The festival can be attended with beloved and friendly pets, which must be under continuous owner supervision (on a leash), leaving cleanliness and order behind. Bathing animals in public swimming areas is not allowed.
 
Participants and Visitors are not allowed to photograph and film other persons without their consent during the Festival. Drones are prohibited throughout the Event unless written permission is obtained from the Organizer.
 
During the event, filming and/or photographing without restriction will be done only by the Organizer or its designated persons. The obtained visual material may be published or used for advertising and commercial purposes without separate consent.

 

Bringing and consuming alcoholic beverages and other intoxicating substances is prohibited at the festival. Smoking is only allowed in specially designated areas.

 

Festival visitors must adhere to the PirtsFest 2025 regulations and general ethics, order, and safety rules.  

 

The festival is organized by the association “LATVJU PIRTS UN SPA ASOCIĀCIJA” in collaboration with the creative association “Radosme”. The festival is supported by the Dobele Municipality. The event is held in cooperation with VAS “Latvijas valsts meži”.
