On September 25th at 19:00, you will have the opportunity to attend a memorable jazz concert with the American singer China Moses at Spīķeri Concert Hall, together with friends and family.
The UK Times wrote about her: “Dazzling chic - she commands the stage the moment she steps onto it!” The American stage diva, China Moses, who resides in France, returns to Latvia and will fill Spīķeri Concert Hall with her captivating energy!
Once a month, Spīķeri Concert Hall transforms into a world-class jazz club, and guests enjoy the event in a relaxed atmosphere at tables, where special snacks prepared by chef Lauris Aleksejevs are served. At the Radio SWH Jazz Club, world-class stars such as American trombonist Marshall Gilkes, Grammy-winning jazz pianist John Beasley, as well as Latvian jazz music legends, including Maestro Raimonds Pauls and guitarist Aivars Hermanis, take the stage alongside the musicians of the Latvian Radio Big Band. The musical atmosphere of the concert venue is curated by vinyl DJ Mareks Ameriks, and there is also a record stand by the label “Jersika Records.” During the concert, a café operates where visitors can order additional drinks at their discretion.
