Writing Festival 2024

In the creative quarter "ZEIT" in Līgatne, on August 11, the world's first WRITING FESTIVAL will take place - the First Writing Festival!

Throughout the day, there will be readings by professionals from various fields on writing and free writing workshops.

Detailed, rich, expressive, introverted, playful, profound - all handwriting styles, come together! If you can't make it yourself, spread the word about the festival, please, become a messenger of the writing festival! Because, perhaps, one of the aspiring writers you know will be thrilled to both hear what is said by Māra Zālīte, Nora Ikstena, Andris Akmentiņš, Ivars Šteinbergs, and other writers and writing experts, as well as participate in workshops where writing with colors, creativity, rhythm, movement, joy, experience, childhood, and memories will be possible (workshop leaders - Haralds Matulis, Māra Upmane-Holšteine, Luīze Pastore, Iveta Harija's daughter, and others)! There will also be other writing activities or activities that inspire writing.
