Ringed Seal Festival

On May 18th of this year at 10:00 in Salacgrīva, the seventh Ringed Seal Festival will commence with an opening ceremony near the harbor house 'Bura'. There will be no shortage of music, concerts, and other entertainment. The main focus, of course, will be on fish. Every visitor by the ship 'Elsa' - a free bucket, fill it up!

Fish prepared in various ways will tantalize the senses with their aroma and flavors. Fish soup, grilled ringed seal, pufaikā, in clay pots, and even in chocolate - everyone will have the opportunity to taste. There will also be a crafts and homemade goods market from 9:00 to 17:00.

There will be various activities for both adults and children - from sports events to educational activities.

The musical part will be taken care of by the Folk Music Band 'Cielavas Spēlmaņi', the ethnofolk group 'Tā kā pērn', the lively Estonian folk group '7th Chamber', and in the evening from 16:01 a grand ball with heartfelt songs for the sea and the sun. Performances by Līga Priede and Vitālijs Bogdanovičs.

All are invited, both locals and visitors! This will be the perfect event to experience positive emotions and joyful moments!
