Each of us lives with an understanding of ourselves and the happenings around us. Our views are shaped by everything we've experienced, learned, and from those people who provide us with answers to questions we don't know. How significant is the society and family in which we were raised? From this, we form our stance on what is different.

​The comedy “Coming Out of the Closet” will not dictate what it means to be different. With humor and elements of show, the play reveals how parents accept their child's difference. The play is based on Laurent Ruquier's “The Main Thing is that He is Happy”, which poses the question – is a child's happiness more important to parents than the entrenched beliefs of society? It will be a guess, an exercise of imagination, where we will fantasize together – how would we react if we were in the parents' place? “Coming Out of the Closet” is an attempt to find a way to converse such that at the end of the conversation, there aren't two camps unwilling to listen to each other. It will be a funny, sad, and complex conversation about society as a whole.​​
