Rock Music Festival in Dzelzava 2025

You are invited to a grand event in Dzelzava! On August 9, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM, the Dzelzava Open-Air Stage will host the Rock Music Festival for the second time – an open-air concert featuring professional and beloved Latvian musicians on one stage.
The festival will be memorable, filled with energetic sounds and thrilling performances. This is definitely a concert to attend with friends and family. On stage, you will enjoy performances by:

•   Ivo Fomins – a legend whose name and voice need no introduction. Active in several rock bands in Liepāja since the 1980s, he embarked on a solo career in 2006, releasing six albums. Ivo Fomins' songs are an integral part of Latvian rock music. The concert will feature his legendary golden hits like “Nekas jau nebeidzas” (Nothing Ever Ends), “Putni bez spārniem” (Birds Without Wings), “Viņa raud” (She Cries), “Mēs dzīvojam pasakās” (We Live in Fairy Tales), and many more. These pieces, which have already earned an irreplaceable place in listeners' hearts, will resonate with new energy, allowing each concert-goer to experience a special moment where these legendary songs become a bridge between the past and the future. Each song will be another turn, behind which awaits a new, powerful, and exciting musical adventure. 
•   QueenTessence – a charismatic band with lead singer Rihards Saulis will offer an emotion-packed show based on the masterpieces of the legendary British rock band Queen. Their performance is more than just a concert – it's an emotional journey through music, stories, and memories, where the musicians share genuine love and respect for Queen.
•   Bad Habbits – a band that combines elements of rock 'n' roll, country, blues, and rock to create a modern and powerful sound. Their repertoire includes both original songs and popular hits by Latvian heavyweights, appealing to a wide audience.
•   Jauda – this is not a story about rose-colored glasses, but about the realism of life with gray days, beautiful moments, and true emotions presented on a musical platter. The band plays in a rock style, creating a unique and vibrant sound.
•   During intermissions and after the band's performances, music will be provided until 3:00 AM by the party virtuoso and Jēkabpils Radio 1 voice DJ Jānis Balodis.

During the event, you will enjoy excellent music, an open-air atmosphere, and the opportunity to meet like-minded people and rock music enthusiasts from all over Latvia. There will be food and drink stalls (Cesvaines Alus, AirStream coffee, Vara Klānu), as well as various other activities available.
