“Romantic Solo for Saxophone – 33Years in Music”

This is a special solo concert program by the outstanding saxophone virtuoso Raivo Stašana, created in collaboration with music producer and composer Gaitis Lazdāns, and will be performed on November 9th at the Roja Cultural Center.

The concert program, met with great acclaim and standing ovations at the VEF Culture Palace and Dzintari Concert Hall, features the beloved saxophonist and one of the most romantic jazz saxophonists in Latvia, Raivo Stašana. This encouraged the artist to reach out to audiences in other Latvian cities! It is the first solo concert program marking 33 creative years in music and presenting Raivo Stašana's latest instrumental pop music album “Romantic Solo for Saxophone”. The album includes 10 original songs created in collaboration with music producer and composer Gaitis Lazdāns. The concert program “Romantic Solo for Saxophone” will feature songs from the new album as well as world hits and popular Latvian pop tunes.

Certainly, this will be the most romantic instrumental music concert, where Raivo Stašana will be joined by Gaitis Lazdāns, Oskars Kurdeko, and Gatis Ivans. The concert is scheduled to last 1:30h without intermission. After the concert, there will be an opportunity to take photographs with the artists and exclusively purchase Raivo Stašana's debut album “Romantic Solo for Saxophone”.
