On March 16th, the 10th folk dance festival “Frozen Sea” will take place at the Saulkrasti Sports Center, gathering hundreds of dancers from various regions of Latvia.
The song festival doesn't end, dancers continue to master new repertoire and are ready to dance colorful and diverse group dances in the festival program.
The artistic director of the festival is Judīte Krūmiņa, long-time leader of Saulkrasti folk dance groups.
The festival will feature 34 youth, middle-aged, and senior dance groups from the regions of Ropaži, Sigulda, Ādaži, Olaine, Mārupe, Ķekava, Salaspils, and Saulkrasti.
Tickets for 5 EUR can be purchased at bilesuparadize.lv and at the “Zvejniekciems” cultural center.
