Events in Liepāja are gaining momentum, and the "Great Amber" is not far behind. This time on March 30 at 19:00, the concert hall will host the renowned music ensemble "Schola Cantorum Riga" and jazz saxophonist Dāvis Jurka. They will present a special program dedicated to Liepāja and the spirit of Easter.
The concert will feature late medieval sacred music from France, Northern Europe, and Riga, intertwined with Dāvis Jurka's brilliant improvisations inspired by ancient Gregorian chants. The fusion of jazz and medieval chants creates a unique atmosphere.
The main idea of the concert is the path to light – resonating with "alleluja" – praising the Creator!
