SHAKESPEARE. SONNETS. Pauls, Busulis, Keišs
Premiere — “SHAKESPEARE. SONNETS. Pauls | Busulis | Keišs”
On September 13th, as part of Poetry Month, a special premiere will take place at Daile Music Hall — “SHAKESPEARE. SONNETS. Pauls | Busulis | Keišs”, where three outstanding artists will come together to reveal the eternal resonance of William Shakespeare's poetry.
Maestro Raimonds Pauls has created a unique musical accompaniment for Shakespeare's sonnets, giving them a new melodic breath and emotional depth. The sonnets will be sung by the charismatic Intars Busulis, while actor Andris Keišs will bring them to life with his vivid and sensuous recitation.
This performance is a musical and literary journey where eras meet — 16th-century English Renaissance poetry gains a contemporary sound while retaining its classic power and emotional intensity.
The concert is part of the Poetry Month program at Daile Music Hall, offering audiences a unique opportunity to experience both exquisite music and the treasures of world literature in one evening.
The program “SHAKESPEARE. SONNETS. Pauls | Busulis | Keišs” will be performed by:
