Ancient Fire Night 2023

On the evening of August 26, at nine o'clock, the 'Ancient Fire Night' event will take place at Staldzenes Cliff. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a specially created video installation by Elīna Matvejeva, filmed on 16mm black and white negative film. Music will also be present, provided by singer Alise Joste, who will perform songs from her latest album 'Šākātā', as well as older compositions. The band 'JUUK', consisting of Edgars Šubrovskis, Sniedze Prauliņa, and Oskars Janson, will also perform. Meanwhile, Ieva Matveja will take care of electronic ambient romance. The event will conclude with a performance by Ieva Matveja. All are welcome to experience the summer and the offered entertainment!
