Night of Ancient Fires in Lapmežciems 2025

On August 30th, the Lapmežciems parish administration invites you to the Night of Ancient Fires at the Gausā Jūdze parking lot and Lapmežciems open-air stage.

The "Night of Ancient Fires" is a special event that annually gathers coastal residents and guests to jointly light fires along the Baltic Sea coast. This tradition is celebrated in several countries – Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, and Sweden – as a symbolic testament to unity, light, and maritime friendship.

Day program: Lapmežciems open-air stage

• 9:30–11:30 RETRO JŪRMALA 2025 – Car exhibition. Are you ready for a journey through the history of automotive manufacturing? We invite all retro and classic vehicle enthusiasts to the annual Retro Jūrmala event,
• FLEA & NEW ENTREPRENEURS' MARKET – a real treasure hunt,
• INFLATABLE ATTRACTIONS for the whole family,
• ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM with surprises,

Evening climax at Gausā Jūdze parking lot:

• 17:30–19:30 RETRO CARS ON THE BEACH – elegance and nostalgia by the sea,
• 19:00 Sandcastle competition – showcase your creativity, teams of 4 people – a chance to win valuable prizes,
• 22:00 – KATRĪNA DIMANTA'S CONCERT – an unforgettable atmosphere by the sea,
• 23:00 – FIRE SHOW.
