Mushroom Festival 2025

On September 13, all nature lovers and mushroom enthusiasts are invited to Ziras for the Mushroom Festival – a creative, educational, and flavor-rich event for the whole family!

During the event, there will be an opportunity to view the Latvian autumn mushroom exhibition, meet representatives of the Latvian Mycological Society, and participate in workshops – dyeing yarn with mushroom dyes, making paper from mushrooms, and taking part in a plaster casting workshop.

The festive atmosphere will be ensured by the beloved actress Regīna Devīte, and the musical segment will be enhanced by live concerts.

At the festival, you can also explore the world of ants, learn about the medicinal properties of polypores and oyster mushroom cultivation at home, as well as purchase various delicacies at the mushroom market and taste dishes at the mushroom café.
