Symphonic Hit with Goran Gora
Events in Riga never cease, and this time on March 14th at the Great Guild there will be a concert "Symphonic Hit with Goran Gora" delighting the audience with French 19th and early 20th-century Impressionist compositions. The music of Claude Debussy's "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun" and two dances for harp and symphony orchestra "La Mer" will resonate.
Conducted by Julien Masmondé.
For the tenth year in a row, every concert series of "Symphonic Hit with Goran Gora" transforms into an exciting adventure, enriching world-famous musical pieces and life stories with specially crafted multimedia elements. Since its inception, the main task of the concert series has been to introduce enthusiasts of classical music and young people to symphonic music hits and their creators. In this season as well, the creative team of "Symphonic Hit" remains unchanged - director Roberts Rubīns, playwright Jānis Joņevs, artist Krišs Salmanis, animator Pauls Poikāns (who joined the team last year), content consultant, musicologist Orests Silabriedis, and storyteller Jānis Holšteins alias Goran Gora.
All admirers of Impressionism are warmly invited, as well as those who wish to broaden their musical horizons and listen to something new.
