Skujene Sounds!

On May 25, the village festival will take place in Skujene, Cesis district. At 12.00, the festival will kick off at Elka Hill, with a folk song program prepared by the elementary school titled 'Climbing in the Mountains'. At 12.00, the festival opening will take place at Skujene Castle Hill, with the participation of Skujene Elementary School students, Nitaure choir 'Skani!', women's vocal ensemble 'Melodia', and singers Vita Zaharova, Diana Kolotilina, Normunds Puskis, and Andris Dzvinko.

A fair will be held at the Antique and Vintage Museum accompanied by music, and various treats will be provided by Skujene Castle Hill Tavern, Sugar Town 'Indrani', and Glass Hill 'Cimbuli'.

Music will not be lacking. The choir 'Skani!' will perform at Sermuksu Nursing Home, while Kārlis Kazāks and 'Melo'dia' will be heard in Skujene Church. Meanwhile, a folk dance collective dance concert 'Skujene Rib' is expected at Skujene Stage.

And, of course, no village festival can end without a grand ball! The Green Ball will start at nine in the evening with the band 'Galaktika'. Everyone is invited, both locals and guests, to enjoy the festivities together and kick off the summer!
