Slampe Parish Festival

On the 2nd and 3rd of August, the Slampe Parish Festival "Together Towards the Heights!" will take place. If you haven't decided where to go for fun with friends and family yet, Slampe awaits you and offers a rich variety of activities for both adults and children and teenagers.

Entrance to the parish festival events is free. On the 3rd of August, throughout the day, you'll have the opportunity to purchase drinks and food from "Kafe Terase" and "IK Raima Segliņa".

On the 2nd of August at 7:00 PM, a prelude concert for the Slampe Parish Festival will take place in Ozolnieki village, featuring Sabīne Berezina. If you feel like sitting during the concert, we invite you to bring blankets or foldable picnic chairs for your comfort.

On the 3rd of August at 10:00 AM, the Slampe Parish Festival will kick off in the creative quarter “KultūrElpa Liepās”.

At 10:30 AM, Sports Festival at Zemgale Secondary School stadium. Individual disciplines and children's program. Team sports include: football, streetball, volleyball, and floorball.

At 11:00 AM, honoring newborns from Slampe Parish with vocal pop groups “Mini Vocalio” and “Vocalio” in the creative quarter “KultūrElpa” Liepās. We invite parents to register newborns born from July 2, 2023, to July 1 of this year and registered in Slampe Parish, Tukums County. Registration by July 22.

From 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Slampe Parish Festival market at Slampe Cultural Palace. We invite businesses, farmers, and artisans to apply with their products. On the 3rd of August from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (setup from 9:00 AM). Registration by July 19.

From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, creative workshops and activities for families at Slampe Cultural Palace. You can play large-format games from “Metam”, participate in creative workshops, go horseback riding with ponies from “Daigones staļļi”, for an additional fee, you can paint faces with Evita Feja, and there will also be a silk screen printing workshop. Bring your own plain and undecorated t-shirt or fabric bag for the silk screen printing workshop.

At 3:00 PM, a chemistry experiment show in the creative quarter “KultūrElpa Liepās” with the Futurimo Rīga knowledge center of Riga Technical University. If you wish to sit during the event, we recommend bringing blankets or foldable picnic chairs for your comfort.

At 4:00 PM, Foam Party for children at Slampe Cultural Palace.

At 7:30 PM, Slampe Parish Festival procession “Together Towards the Heights – In Slampe” with the brass band “Dobele”. Route: Slampe railway station – creative quarter “KultūrElpa Liepās”. We invite registrations for the procession: families, work collectives, associations, amateur art groups, sports teams, and all residents of Slampe Parish! Registration by July 28.

At 8:30 PM, Festival concert with Miku Dukurs. If you wish to sit during the concert, we recommend bringing blankets or foldable picnic chairs for your comfort.

At 10:00 PM, Festival Party with DJ Piksi.
