Smokie – The Greatest Hits Tour

On July 11th, Dzintari Concert Hall will host one of the most legendary, successful, and beloved British rock bands, 'Smokie', who will soon celebrate their 60th anniversary. Throughout their career, they have released 26 albums, more than 30 singles, and sold over 30 million album copies, as well as earned several gold and platinum certifications.

Many of Smokie's songs have long become true classics, with at least three generations of listeners growing up with them – these include 'Don’t Play Your Rock’N’Roll To Me', 'I Can’t Stay Here Tonight', 'If You Think You Know How To Love Me', 'Needless and Pins', 'For a Few Dollars More', 'Mexican Girl', 'I’ll Meet You at Midnight', 'Oh Carol', 'What Can I Do', not to mention the party hit 'Living Next Door To Alice'.

Currently, Smokie consists of five members: Steve Pinnell (drums), Mick McConnell (guitar), Pete Lincoln (vocals), Martin Bullard (keyboards), and Luke Bullard (bass guitar).

Although the band's biography is marked by many painful and even tragic events, today the musicians feel an insatiable passion for their music more than ever, and their constant concert tours on all continents of the world only prove that Smokie's music is immortal.
