Sports Festival “Cēsis”

This summer, on August 2nd, Cēsis will host its first-ever sports festival, bringing together a wide variety of sports, exciting activities, and competitions for different age and skill groups. Throughout the day, tournaments, demonstrations, and sporting activities for the whole family will take place at various locations in the city.

Festival Program:

GHETTO Football at Pils Park field by the pond.
Registration from 11:00 AM, competitions from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Age groups: U12, U14, U16, women, OPEN (17+).

GHETTO Basketball at Vienības Square.
Registration from 11:00 AM, competitions from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Age groups: U12, U14, U16, women, OPEN (17+).

Floorball with FK “Lekrings” at Cēsis City Stadium.
Registration from 10:00 AM, competitions from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Beach Volleyball with sports club “IVI” at Cēsis City Stadium.
Day tournament starts at 10:00 AM.
Night tournament starts at 9:00 PM.

“4 Seasons” Run with sports club “Ašais” at Cēsis City Stadium.
Start at 11:00 AM, finish around 1:00 PM.

Dynami:t Jam with Cēsis District Youth Council at Cēsis Skatepark.
Skateboard and Scooter competitions for amateur, pro, and girls' groups.
Registration from 12:00 PM, start at 1:00 PM.

Whist and Chess at Maija Park.
Whist from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, registration from 10:00 AM.
Chess from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, registration from 11:00 AM.

Laser Shooting at Vienības Square.

Golf Lessons at “Āriņi”, Vaive Parish, Cēsis District.
Opportunity to learn the basics of golf and try the game under professional guidance.

Relays for children aged 6 to 10 years old.

Orienteering.

Novuss.

During the festival, there will be an opportunity to visit the information tents of Cēsis Sports School to learn more about sporting opportunities in Cēsis District.

The sports festival is organized in collaboration with organizations: Ghetto Games, sports club “IVI”, FK “Lekrings”, sports club “Ašais”, Cēsis District Youth Council, and Cēsis District Sports School.
