Celebration in the Heart of Summer

On July 5, the event “Celebration in the Heart of Summer” will take place in Ķeipene, inviting both locals and guests. There will be activities for families with children as well as opportunities to have fun with friends.

• from 9:00 AM at the Community Center, the Local Producers' Market. Bacon, treats, smoked goods, ceramics, and other delights! We invite vendors to register by calling Inese at 26545470!  There will be a chance to buy the delicious Ķeipene gingerbread and create your own special gingerbread in the workshop!! A buffet will be available!
• from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ķeipene's Cinema Station free rides on the Rail Bike!
• at 10:00 AM “Ķeipene Cup 2025” in beach volleyball. We invite you to participate and form teams! Each team consists of 2 members! Team registration from 9:30 AM at the volleyball court. Entry fee per team is 10 euros! For inquiries and registration, contact Rihards at 28348995.
• from 11:00 AM on the basketball court 3x3 basketball competition. Team registration from 10:30 AM. Each team consists of 3 members. Entry fee per team is 15 euros. For inquiries and registration, contact Rihards at 28348995.
• from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the exhibition rooms of Ķeipene Community Center there will be an opportunity to view part of the Ķeipene painting collection!
• from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM near the Community Center, an entertaining offer for families
  “House of Light and Sensations”. A mobile house where you can spend time creatively, educationally, and interestingly! Activities in the house will enhance children's creativity and offer them a chance to express themselves through play and art activities!
• from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in thearea near the kindergarten Drift Karting for children aged 5 to 16!
• from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM summer fun with “Nītaureņi”. Games, attractions, plays for families! Near the Community Center.
• at 12:30 PM “Little Run 2025”. Registration from 11:30 AM at the Community Center  groups: ages 1 to 2 – together with a parent; ages 3 to 4; ages 5 to 6; 7-year-olds' run; 8-year-olds' run.
• at 2:00 PM marathon “Around Ķeipene – 2025”. Marathon registration from 1:00 PM (evaluation by groups: boys' group ages 9 to 15; girls' group ages 9 to 15;  youth group for boys ages 16 – 25; youth group for girls ages 16 to 25; men's group ages 26 to 35; women's group ages 26 to 35; men's group ages 36 to 45; women's group ages 36 to 45; gentlemen's group ages 46 to 55, ladies' group ages 46 to 55 and senior group – from age 56.)
• at 4:00 PM in the large hall of the Community Center meeting with the publishing house “Jumava”. A conversation with you and information about the latest books will be provided by the director of the publishing house, Juris Visockis, and Pāvils Raudonis. There will be a Book Table where you can purchase the latest literature!
• at 7:00 PM at the open-air stage, concert and meeting with Edgar and Kristaps Pujāti!
• at 10:00 PM outdoor dance party. Music will be played by Artis Šimpermanis!
