The theatrical concert program "Musique d'amour" in the spirit of Vienna will be music about love; it will delight and allow you to experience the joy of aesthetically musical celebrations.
"In the time we currently live in, we understand more than ever the importance of maintaining compassion, humanity, and the ability to listen and love one another. Love is the core of life, the elixir of vitality that creates joy and gives value and meaning to our lives. The guiding theme of our concert is the music of love as a source of inspiration and strength, as an explosion of joy and love in contrast to what is happening in the world," says Agija Ozoliņa-Kozlovska, the chairman of the Operetta Theater board.
The concert will feature soloists: Sonora Vaice (soprano), Anta Jankovska (soprano / Italy), Laura Purena-Kancāne (soprano), Patrīcija Kozlovska (soprano) from Alfred Kalniņa Cēsis Music Secondary School, Dainis Skutelis (tenor), Dainis Kalnačs (tenor), Nauris Indzeris (baritone), Raimonds Ozols (violin), and Agija Ozoliņa-Kozlovska (piano), hosted by Henrijs Kozlovskis.
Program: the most beautiful opera arias and duets, excerpts from the audience's favorite Operetta Theater performances, and popular operetta music literature - excerpts from Franz Lehár's operettas "Die lustige Witwe", "Der Graf von Luxemburg", "Paganini", "Das Land des Lächelns", "Giuditta", "Das Land des Lächelns", Olympia's aria from Jacques Offenbach's opera "The Tales of Hoffmann", excerpts from Karl Zeller's operetta "Der Vogelhändler", Imre Kálmán's operetta "Silva, the Csárdás Queen", Karl Millöcker's operetta "Gasparone", Johann Strauss' operetta "Der Zigeunerbaron", Charles Lecocq's operetta "La fille de Madame Angot", Imre Kálmán's operettas "Silva", "Marica", Robert Planquette's opera "Les cloches de Corneville", and Vittorio Monti's "Csárdás", and other surprises.
Creators of the concert: choreographers Olga Spridzāne and Ieva Kemlere, costume artist Elīna Milta-Niedrāja, set designer Rasa Cirvele, makeup artist Liāna Repule, artistic director and producer Agija Ozoliņa-Kozlovska.
