“Tell, Where the Most Beautiful Land Is”

As every year, November 18th gathers people across Latvia for various events. They also take place in Valmiera, and both locals and guests are warmly invited.

On November 18th at 6:00 PM, we invite you to the festive concert program “Tell, Where the Most Beautiful Land Is” at Valmiera Culture Center. The concert program, created by director Valdis Pavlovskis, will feature patriotic and popular songs by Latvian composers Raimonds Pauls, Zigmars Liepiņš, Mārtiņš Brauns, Jānis Lūsēns, Jānis Strazds, along with poetry by outstanding Latvian poets Ojārs Vācietis, Jānis Peters, and Leons Briedis.

The concert will include performances by singers Dainis Skutelis, Aija Vītoliņa, and the ladies' trio “Oranžās” (Olga Stare, Inta Gudovska, Anita Kārkliņa), with a musical ensemble led by Juris Kristons (Modris Laizāns, Jānis Kalniņš, Ivars Kalniņš). The concert will be hosted and songs performed by Artis Robežnieks, an actor from Daile Theater.

Admission is free, with entrance cards available at Valmiera Culture Center's box office from November 1st.
