Meeting with Writer Laura Vinogradova in Ogre 2025
On September 6th at 1:00 PM, everyone is invited to meet writer Laura Vinogradova at the Ogre Central Library for a discussion on “How to Talk About Uncomfortable Topics in Literature?”
Laura Vinogradova is the author of several books. Her novella “River” has received the European Union Prize for Literature and has been translated into foreign languages. She is one of the co-authors of the children's mental health week "Talk to Me", works as a volunteer at the Iļģuciems Prison, and participates in the workshop cycle “Inclusion and Contemporary Art” organized by the association “Colorize”.
The event is intended for a wide audience and is free of charge.
The meeting is supported by the State Cultural Capital Foundation. It is organized by the “Photo Club Ogre” association in conjunction with Dace Voitkeviča's exhibition “Boy, Listen!” at the Ogre History and Art Museum.
