Let's Meet at Lake Vaidava

On August 16, from 11:00 AM, the support center “Atspulgs” in collaboration with the local community association “Vaidava Parish Association” is organizing an exciting and active event called “Let's Meet at Lake Vaidava”.

At Lake Vaidava, parish sports games will take place, featuring music, songs, and a market with local vendors, and plans for a pancake feast with rhubarb-orange and rhubarb-banana jam.

The support center “Atspulgs” invites both young and old residents of Vaidava, Valmiera, and guests to meet Runcis Rūdis and Bebrs Bruno, shoot hoops in basketball, play football with giant balls, play cornhole and croquet, compete in boot throwing, as well as solve a quiz about Vaidava to get to know Vaidava and its surroundings more closely and accurately. The most diligent athletes and the most knowledgeable quiz solvers will receive prizes, with the main prize being a cornhole set, which will be raffled in a lottery.

During the event, children will also have access to inflatable attractions, face painting, and the cheerful volunteer firefighter Egīls will demonstrate how firefighters work. Those interested can try on the work gear and attempt to hit targets with water jets.

Participation in the event is free of charge.
