Dark Punctuation

The events of Poetry Days are becoming increasingly diverse.

People often claim that one must pass through darkness to reach the light. Is it really so? This will be tested under controlled conditions by five poets and an artist. Wrapped in the darkness of ancient, abandoned underground tunnels connecting factory buildings, they will guide visitors forward through stations that are both audible and visually perceivable. More verbal and more musical. Entirely dark, with a touch of light here and there (yes, there will indeed be occasional glimpses). And what follows afterwards? Afterwards, light, the exit.
Such is the atmosphere – relaxing, friendly. With conversations and background music. Event participants: – poets Evelīna Mūrniece, Pauls Kauķis, Laima Ābele, Sintija Sudmale, and Andris Alps; – visual artist Anete Grīnberga.

The anticipated duration of the walk is approximately one and a half hours.

Meeting at the gates of the area from 18:40.
