Are You Ready for Līgo?

A great place to go for Līgo with friends and family is Nītaure. Before the Līgo celebrations, on June 22, from 11:00 to 15:00, the Līgo celebration event 'Are You Ready for Līgo?' will take place at Nītaure Generations Park.

The event includes:

13:00 juice drinking competition (up to 7 years old), kvass drinking competition (7+).

14:00 beer drinking competition (21+). Alcohol consumption has a negative impact. Selling and providing alcohol to minors is prohibited.

During the event, there will also be a fern flower search, jumping over the 'bonfire,' wreath weaving, singing, learning about the Jāņi herbs, a swing, and other festival attractions. Locals and visitors are welcome, bringing along a good mood and pleasant emotions!
