State Holiday Celebration in Aizkraukle

On November 17 at 18:00, a festive event dedicated to the State holidays will take place at the Aizkraukle Cultural Center.

The first part of the event will feature a solemn ceremony for presenting awards from the Aizkraukle municipality.

The second part of the event will be a concert program dedicated to the Latvian State holidays, titled “Like the Gentlely Glowing Rose Bush”, performed by the distinguished soloists - mecosoprano Kristine Zadovska and musician Daumants Kalnins, along with the accompanying group.

Weaving the threads of time in the folklore, the concert will feature popular Latvian composers' awakening and love affirmation songs for the present time. Each of these songs carries immense power that once inspired the bravest dreams to become reality.
