From July 26th to 28th, Vecpiebalga invites you to the traditional festival 'Vecpiebalga Opens Doors'. This year, the festival is dedicated to the eight-hundredth anniversary of Piebalga's name, hence the festival motto: 'Excitement, Buzz, and Revelry in Vecpiebalga!' Mind, energy, and joy. Ancient Piebalga expressions are chosen to accentuate the unique nature of this place and its people, highlighting that this picturesque part of Vidzeme's uplands, a part of Piebalga's cultural space, is not only beautiful but also a protected and living value.

Three festival days invite you to linger in Vecpiebalga and delve into the past and present through various cultural events, inspiring for the future.
