Bike Cinema Festival 'Cine Pedal'

For the ninth year, Valmiera becomes the capital of bike and cinema lifestyle!

On May 10, bike and cinema enthusiasts will meet in pop-up cinemas in the most unusual places in Valmiera. This year, the cinemas will be located in the vicinity of Viesturlaukums - Georgs Apinis - the city center. The cinema program is created in collaboration with the short film festival 2ANNAS.

On May 11, there will be the CINE PEDAL BIKE RIDE, and within the festival, a total of 3 different length, ability, and desire routes will be available - FAMILY PEDAL (about 10 km), HALF-PEDAL (about 25 km), and FULL-PEDAL (about 45 km). All routes will start and finish in Valmiermuiža Castle Park. Participants will be guided in the routes by an interactive game played on participants' smartphones. The game map will show both the route of the ride and the checkpoints of the game questions. Thanks to the support of Valmiera Municipality, the festival will be free for visitors. Everyone will have the opportunity to purchase festival souvenirs - t-shirts and the famous Cine Pedal caps.
