Venta Festival 2025

On May 31st, the “Venta Festival” will take place in Vārve – a summery event by the banks of the Venta River, which for the fourth year will gather local residents and guests from all around the area. Throughout the day, visitors are invited to enjoy a diverse program – from the boat ride “Floating Device Carnival” and delightful surprises to musical performances and heartfelt togetherness close to nature. The “Venta Festival” is a day where joy, taste, music, and the pride of the region – the Venta River – will meet.

Program Start – adventure on the water “Floating Device Carnival”

The festival day will kick off at 3:00 PM with the now traditional boat ride “Floating Device Carnival,” starting at Leči parking lot and finishing at Vārve beach. Both individual and team participants are invited to register. The floating device can be anything – a boat, raft, catamaran, or something more creative – the main requirement is that it stays afloat!

Evening Program – taste, music, and dance

From 5:00 PM, the festival center will move to the stage in central Vārve.
The program will open with “New Local Talents” – featuring creative and promising artists from the Ventspils region. At 6:00 PM, gourmet and curious culinary enthusiasts will have the opportunity to watch chef Elvis Rīben's cooking show, where cooking becomes a true delight.
At 8:00 PM, energy will charge the stage with Miks Galvanovskis and his band, and from 9:20 PM, the festival climax – a dance party with the band “Hono.”
