PETER SARIK TRIO  is one of the leading and most popular jazz ensembles in Hungary. One reason for this is the fact that all three members of the group are open-minded and versatile musicians, allowing them to reach a much wider audience than most jazz groups.

The atmosphere of the group's concerts resembles that of rock or pop music concerts, with the Peter Sarik Trio continually attracting new jazz fans thanks to their creative openness and energy.

They regularly and successfully perform worldwide, repeatedly appearing in London, Paris, Berlin, Helsinki, Moscow, Beijing, Istanbul, Almaty, and Riga, showcasing the power and potential of combining classical music, jazz, tango, and world music, while delighting the audience so that both classical music and the musicians themselves are guaranteed to gain new fans of the jazz genre by the end of the concert.

The trio specializes in jazz arrangements of classical and pop music, achieving great success with their Bartók and Beethoven programs.

They have won the Hungarian Grammy award twice, and the trio are laureates of numerous prestigious awards.
Each member of the Trio is an awarded and recognized musician.
 
Free interplay, an exciting musical journey, fantastic energy, and impulses - all these are combined in the Peter Sarik Trio's Jazz Class program, which presents popular pieces from the classical music repertoire in a new light.

In the special arrangements by Peter Sarik, alongside the violin, vocals, piano, double bass, and drums, an unusual instrument - the theremin, considered the world's first electronic instrument - takes a central place.

At the festival, the audience is invited to enjoy popular classical music themes in witty jazz transformations: Bartók, Beethoven, Bach, Chopin, Khachaturian, and others, as well as operetta - Kálmán.
