VII International Operetta Festival in Ikšķile | GALA Concert and Waltz Evening

Enriching Latvia's cultural scene, celebrating the operetta genre, highly acclaimed in European and global art circles, and eagerly anticipated by audiences, the International Operetta Festival in Ikšķile will take place for the seventh time this year! The audience will be delighted by performances from both our Operetta Theatre's beloved soloists and international soloists and musicians, featuring specially designed scenography and lavish costumes.

DIÁNA KISS (soprano) and NINH DUC HOANG LONG (tenor/Vietnam)

Soloists from the Kaunas State Musical Theatre (Lithuania):
MARIJA ARUTIUNOVA (soprano) and ANDREJUS APŠEGA (baritone)

Soloist from the Zurich Opera House (Switzerland):
ANDREJ KRUTOJ (tenor)

Operetta Theatre soloists:
SONORA VAICE (soprano), ANTA JANKOVSKA (soprano/ Italy), BAIBA RENERTE (mezzo-soprano),
DAINIS SKUTELIS (TENOR), ANDRIS LAPIŅŠ (tenor), NAURIS INDZERIS (baritone)

The soloists' singing will be enriched by dancers and a symphony orchestra under the leadership of conductor ATVAR LAKSTĪGALA.

The festival's program, combining the core values of the genre with surprisingly diverse possibilities, will inspire and create a heartwarming, unique cultural experience at the height of summer. 

On August 16th we invite you to arrive at 6 PM and enjoy the CAFE MUSICAL jazz standard ambiance with improvisations by pianist Agnese Muste and saxophonist Estere Kristiāna Ozoliņa at the restaurant's musical café, and savor the festival's special IKŠĶILE ICE CREAM flavor created for the festival.

GALA concert at 8 PM

After the concert at 11 PM the eagerly awaited unique "highlight" of the festival - the WALTZ EVENING, where until midnight every concert attendee can dance waltzes accompanied by the Operetta Orchestra and maestro Atvar Lakstīgala, - on the festival stage where artists had just sung and danced! Admission is included in the concert ticket price.
