Celebrations must be celebrated! The morning of the Viļāni Association Festival will start with mowing competitions. The competitions will take place in Viļāni (in the meadow near Ugrinieki Bridge/Saules Street).
Participant registration on the day of the competition from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM.
The competition begins at 8:00 AM, and the regulations are available on the Viļāni Association website.
From 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the festival “One Green Day in Viļāni 3” will take place at the Viļāni city stadium, featuring educational workshops for youth about the environment.
Meanwhile, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the health promotion festival “Live Healthy” will be held.
At the end of the day, at 5:30 PM, you are invited to gather at the Viļāni Association building for a communal festival procession to Nightingale Island.
At 6:00 PM, a concert titled “Viļāni – a Stop of Sensations” is planned on Nightingale Island, along with presentations from Viļāni Association institutions.
The concert will feature artistic groups from the Viļāni Culture House – the preschool dance group, the youth dance ensemble “Austra,” the senior dance group “Kūmys,” the senior vocal ensemble “Rudens ziedi,” the rural band “Bumburneicys,” the folklore ensemble “Viļōnīši,” the line dance group “Cherry Lady,” the dance group “Mozaīka,” the women's choir “Alta,” the women's vocal ensemble “Sudaruški,” the Viļāni Association amateur theaters, and from Dekšāri Parish, the senior line dance group “Bokonu bryuklinis,” the men's vocal ensemble, and the men's group “Kūzuls.”
The festival will conclude with the band “Lustīgais blūmīzers.” Lustīgais blūmīzers – it's an explosion on a summer evening! The band combines blues, folk music, and lively dance music that won't let anyone sit still!
From 1:00 AM to 3:00 AM, disco rhythms led by DJ Arnis.
Prepare your feet for dancing and your heart for joy – merriment guaranteed!
