On June 15, starting at 15:00, the Wolfhound Marathon will take place at Āžu Hill in Tukums District.
A 42 km long route, with 2000+ meters of elevation gain, 13 laps - all await the participants in this race.
This may be the toughest marathon in Latvia - through forest paths, hills, up and down, overcoming various obstacles. The time limit is 7 hours, and both at the start and finish, participants will be refreshed and fed.
As the name suggests, natural forest obstacles won't be the only challenges... the forest is shrouded in many legends, and it's unknown when a wolfhound may appear from the bushes or the rustle of blood may startle from the branches.
The winner will receive a pleasant prize - 25% of all participants' entry fees.
A nerve-racking and by no means a marathon for the faint-hearted awaits you in Tukums District!
