26th Balvi Chamber Music Festival

From August 30th to 31st, the 26th Chamber Music Festival will take place in Balvi, inviting you to an unforgettable meeting with outstanding music instrument virtuosos.

Saturday, August 30th

• At 7:00 PM at the Balvi Culture and Recreation Center, the program "Mendelssohn. Ravel. Plakidis". Indulge in the magic of violin playing by Sabīne Sergejeva, the piano virtuosity of Rihards Plešanovs, and the velvety sound of the cello by Emma Aleksandra Bandeniece.

Sunday, August 31st

• At 2:00 PM at the Balvi Culture and Recreation Center, an unusual duet program "Saxophone and Guitar" presented by "Latvian Concerts" will be performed. The talented Aigars Raumanis (saxophone) and Miks Akots (guitar) will be in front of you.
• At 4:00 PM at the Balvi Music School, the program "Romantic Serenades" will take you into a world of emotions and passions. Soprano Ilze Grēvele-Skaraine, baritone Rihards Millers, and pianist Ērika Millere will delight you.
• At 7:00 PM, the festival concludes at the Balvi Culture and Recreation Center with an international program "In the Embrace of the Sun". Artists from Latvia and Argentina will unite: Deivids Merlins (violin), Vizma Laura Agloniete (violin), Jevgenija Gorbunova (viola), Emma Aleksandra Bandeniece (cello), and Vladimirs Kudrins (guitar).
