Fish Market in Užava

On September 28th, starting from 12:00 PM, in Užava Parish, Ventspils Municipality, the fifth Užava Fish Market will take place, traditionally gathering vendors and visitors for a joyful autumn celebration.

During the market, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase a wide range of fish products—smoked, marinated, and salted fish, as well as canned goods and other ready-made products. Additionally, local farm produce and handicrafts will be available.

The event will be enlivened by the cheerful and melodious members of the ethnographic ensemble “Maģie suiti.” Throughout the day, there will be entertaining tasks and contests, as well as the traditional market auction. For children, the program includes exciting activities—creative workshops, balloon figure making, and cotton candy preparation.

The event will conclude with a performance by the special guest—Žoržs Siksna.
