Artisans' House
The Folk Art Society “SAIVA” was founded on November 7, 2007, with the aim of preserving the tradition of craftsmanship in the Kurzeme region, which is a significant part of Latvian cultural heritage, and passing on these skills to the next generation by engaging young people and children in the activities of the Artisans' House.
At the Artisans' House, you will see weavers weaving and traditional costumes being made, textile mosaics being sewn and amber jewelry being crafted, leather goods and wickerwork being created, paintings and dolls being made. You will also be able to visit an exhibition of works and products by local masters.
