White Church Add an Object
The White Church of Daugavgriva is the oldest historical building in Vecmilgravis. The church in Daugavgriva is mentioned for the first time in 1205, when Bishop Albert built a Cistercian monastery and castle on the bank of the Daugava River. The monastery was located approximately where the Swedish Wall and the Skanstnieki houses are now.
