Balvi Roman Catholic Church
It is connected not only with its remarkable lifespan of over 200 years, but also with its peculiar architectural form. The church was renovated in 2004.
The pastor Šimanovskis, under whose care the construction was started, had temporarily left Balvi, but upon his return, the church had already been built according to the Eastern Orthodox pattern - only with the central dome. Two towers were added to the front of the church later.
