Monument to Barclay de Tolly Add an Object

The Monument to Barclay de Tolly is a monument dedicated to Russian military leader Mikhail Andreas Barclay de Tolly (original sculptor Wilhelm Wandschneider, 1913; restored copy sculptors Aleksejs Murzins and Ivans Korņejevs, 2002). It is located in Esplanade, Riga, near the Orthodox Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ.The original monument was erected in 1913, and after two years, the sculpture was dismantled, but the pedestal was preserved. In 2002, the sculpture was restored to its historic location.
