Monument of Freedom Add an Object
The Monument of Freedom is one of the cultural-historical objects in the city of Jēkabpils, located on Rīgas Street, opposite Krustpils Castle. The monument is dedicated to the memory of the soldiers who fell in the Latvian War of Independence and the sons of the Krustpils congregation. The monument was unveiled on September 27, 1925. It was created by sculptor Vilhelms Treijs based on the design by architect Aleksandrs Birznieks.
