Museum of Decorative Arts and Design Add an Object

The Museum of Decorative Arts and Design was founded as the Latvian Museum of Professional Decorative Applied Arts, and it mainly houses works of decorative arts and design created by Latvian artists. The museum's collection consists of seven collections: textile art, ceramics and porcelain, metal art, leather art, decorative wood art, glass art, and the newest - design collection. Alongside the permanent exhibition, the museum regularly offers visitors a wide range of exhibitions. Every year, both Latvian and foreign exhibitions of decorative arts and design are organized. Creative workshops (fabric printing, wool spinning, etc.) and other activities that provide opportunities for every participant to express their creative imagination also play a significant role in the museum's activities.
